Join Empowered Pathways for The Tea End-of-Life Chat for Individuals, Families, and Pet Parents

There are some conversations most of us quietly carry in our hearts but rarely say out loud:
Questions about the end of life. Worries about aging parents. Wondering what it will be like when a beloved pet grows old. Hoping we’ll know what to do when the time comes.
These topics can feel heavy—but they don’t have to be faced alone.
That’s why I created The Tea: a series of warm, welcoming community conversations where we can sit together (tea optional, but encouraged), ask questions, and talk openly about end-of-life topics that affect us all.
And the best part? These gatherings are completely free and open to anyone who feels called to join.
What Is “The Tea”?
“The Tea” is a short, relaxed online gathering designed to make space for honest conversations about end-of-life experiences—for ourselves, for our loved ones, and for the animals who share our lives.
Think of it less like a lecture and more like a community circle.
A place where you can:
Ask questions you’ve been carrying
Listen to others who may be on a similar journey
Learn about options and resources
Talk about grief, planning, caregiving, or simply what’s been on your mind
Feel a little less alone in conversations that are often avoided
There’s no pressure to share. You’re welcome to simply listen if that feels right. Sometimes the most meaningful comfort comes from knowing that others understand.
A Special Chat Just for Pet Parents
Loving an animal means knowing that one day we’ll likely have to say goodbye.
For many people, this experience can feel surprisingly isolating. Society doesn’t always recognize the depth of grief that can come with losing a beloved pet. Our Pet Parent Tea is a space created specifically for those conversations.
We may talk about:
Anticipatory grief when a pet is aging or ill
Knowing when it might be time
Navigating veterinary decisions
Honoring and remembering beloved companions
Supporting children through pet loss
Caring for your own heart before and after goodbye
If you’ve ever wondered whether others feel the same deep love and worry for their animals—you’ll likely find kindred spirits here.

Why These Conversations Matter
When we avoid talking about death, we often miss opportunities to talk about what truly matters in life. These gentle conversations can help us:
Feel more prepared for the future
Understand our options and wishes
Support loved ones more confidently
Reduce fear and uncertainty
Connect with others navigating similar experiences
And sometimes, simply speaking these thoughts out loud can bring a surprising sense of peace.
Want to Go a Little Deeper?
In addition to our free community chats, we also offer low-cost educational workshops for those who want to explore planning tools and legal documents in more detail.
Upcoming Workshops

Join Us for Tea
Whether you’re navigating caregiving, thinking ahead, supporting an aging pet, or simply curious about these conversations, you’re warmly invited to join us. Bring a cup of tea, a question, or just your listening heart. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply sit together and talk about what matters.
I would love to see you there.
