Part of being a modern end-of-life doula (EOLD) is creating community and holding space where it matters. This is why I started Endings IRL, a podcast about grief, death, caregiving, pets, end-of-life planning, and the deeply human experiences we all eventually face.

Put simply, Endings IRL is a space for real conversations about grief, death, caregiving, pets, end-of-life planning, and being human. Whether you’re grieving someone you love, caring for a family member, navigating pet loss, curious about end-of-life planning, or simply trying to understand mortality in a more compassionate way — you belong with our community.
The Endings IRL podcast is a judgment-free space where we can talk honestly about the things most people avoid until they’re suddenly living through them. The conversation is for people of all ages. Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen X will especially resonate with the topics and perspective.
Episode 1 is out now, and you can find it on Spotify.
Listen to Episode 1: A Place for Growth and Grief, here.
The first episode is devoted to the basics: How Empowered Pathways and Endings IRL began, what EOLDs are, and what you can expect from the podcast.
If you find it resonates with you, be sure to follow our podcast on Spotify and keep up with the latest topics on Substack, TikTok, and Instagram. You can find us on any of those platforms @endingsirl.
